The 1st Annual Angler's Mangrove Festival ( 29 April 2000 )
Coastal Conservation Association's Orlando Chapter, Keep Brevard Beautiful and Rockledge High Schools Environmental Club lead by Tom Stewart planted 2000 mangroves at Manatee park
Cub Scout Pack 474 planted 150 Red Mangroves along the IRL near PSJ. I can't say enough good things about these guys. They came out on a windy, cold morning to do their part in helping to restore our lagoon. Here are a few pictures of the work they did.
Merritt Island High School's Earth Club planted 500 red mangroves at Kiwanis Island
