This is due to a number of reasons. Titusville has some of the largest inshore grass flats in the state and has very little if any tidal movement. The combination of these two factors create an area where redfish and other inshore species thrive. Most of the fish that make their home in these waters will spend their entire lives in this semi-closed estuary. So what does this mean for the person wanting to catch reds? This area is one of the few places in the world that you can catch redfish year round. As with all fishing there are times of the year that the fishing is better than others but in this area there is always a good chance. Due to the number of reds in the Titusville area it has been the target of numerous fishing shows. Just about every person on TV that has wanted to fish reds has done a show in this area. I have guided a number of these personalities myself. So if your looking for the place you saw on TV, this is it. I'm not a big fan of fishing shows because I would rather be the one fishing. That is why I tell most of my clients that have never done this kind of fishing before to so stop dreaming about fishing the flats and watching other people do it on TV and let's go catch some memories. If you have never sight fished with light tackle, don't worry. I cater to all fishing experience levels, from beginner to expert. My job is to help you catch fish without the stress and screaming you my have encountered with other guides. I will do everything I can to help you catch a big one. Having top quality equipment put in your hands. I currently use Shimano Stradic spinning reels, Ross fly reels and G-Loomis Greenwater rods.  Quality lures and tackle.  A spacious smooth riding boat (click here for more information about my boat).  And most of all, a full time guide that wants to see YOU catch fish. I am a full time U.S. Coast Guard Licensed Captain with over 35 years experience fishing the Indian and Banana Rivers from Titusville to Cocoa Beach for redfish, trout, snook and tarpon. I currently fish from 2005 Famous Craft 1800XL. It is one of the most comfortable and driest flats boats on the market. I will provide the following...
