Why just go camping when you can go fishing at the same time? Indian River Adventures is now booking Fishing / Camping trips in the Indian and Banana Rivers.

Having been raised on the river I have spent a lot of time camping on our river's Islands.  When I  have a few days without clients I pack up my tent and fishing rod and head out to on one of the 59 Islands we have in the Indian and Banana Rivers. I always find the time away from the every day life a great time to recharge my batteries and catch some fish at the same time. You also can't beat trout and eggs in the morning.

Not to long ago I invited a friend of my to get out with me for a get away. We were up half the night telling fish stories. We even created a few new ones we will talk about for a long time. But that is not the best thing about getting out to your own privet Island. Nothing compares to the peaceful feeling of being far away form everyday life and the only sound you listen to is the sound of your line screaming.

After that trip I decided that I would make this type of camping trips available to everyone.

Your trip will include:

• 1 full day and 1 half day fishing trip

• Tents (I bring a tent for myself also)

• Sodas and ice (other drinks can be arranged)

• Seafood dinner and breakfast

• Rods and reels

• All fishing tackle

• Bait (if needed)

• Fishing license

• Years of experience

• Insect repellent

• Sun tan lotion

You need to bring:

• Sleeping Bags

• Any personal items you may need

• Hat, sunglasses

• Camera

Meals

Dinner: fresh grilled shrimp. Red fish and/or trout caught that day, grilled mixed vegetables, grilled garlic potatoes and grilled garlic toast all fixed at the camp site by Capt. Doug.

Breakfast:  bacon, eggs and toast fixed on the grill.  We can always have trout and eggs if they are willing to join us for breakfast.  

Rates

I only run camping trips from May - September

The price for your Camping / Fishing Adventure is $1200.00     

This trip is for up to 2 Adults OR 1 Adult and 2 children under 12. If you have a larger party, I can arrange a second boat with one of my other guides for an additional $1200.

We leave the dock at 11 AM and return at 12 PM the next day.

Due to the nature and time involved with this trip I ask for a $500.00 deposit upon booking the trip. There is an additional $500 deposit for a second boat. The deposit must be received before the trip will be booked. I will hold the date for 1 week if you are mailing it (address below). If you have a problem with the scheduled date or the weather turns bad, I will be more than willing to reschedule you. All deposits are non-refundable after one week prior to your trip. I ask that you give me 1 weeks notice of any schedule changes.

I do not drop people off on the Islands. I stay with each party over night.
