Our guides have over 75 years combined experience fishing Central Florida. So, if you're looking for a guide to help you catch Redfish, Gator Trout, Tarpon or Snook, we have a guide that can put you on fish. We are located just 45 minutes from Walt Disney and the Orlando area. Our job is to help you catch fish and have a good time doing it.

People ask me all of the time if this is like the flats fishing they have seen me do on TV.  My answer: it's better, because YOU are the one catching the fish. On my trips, I will show you how to catch  Trout, Redfish, Tarpon and Snook with light tackle. If you have never sight fished before, don't worry, I cater to all fishing experience levels. I am a full time flats guide with over 35 years experience fishing the Titusville, Cape Canaveral and Merritt Island areas. This area consists of saltwater fishing the Indian River Lagoon System "flats" north and south of the Sebastian Inlet. These unique stretches of shallow water flats are lined with lush beds of seagrass. So you want to catch fish? Big Fish? This is your lucky day, because you are visiting the site of Captain Kent Gibbens. You don't have to go to the Keys to find Sea Trout, Snook, Redfish, Tarpon and Jack Cravelle; which are the most common species that we catch. Captain Kent offers guided fishing trips from Mosquito Lagoon North to Matanzas Inlet.  We fish with live and artificial bait, which are both provided by Captain Kent.
